Help Support The Youth of Fort Wayne

At the 2026 IPRA Conference & Expo, we are proud to support a charity that plays a vital role in strengthening Fort Wayne’s East Central and Southeast neighborhoods. The Fort Wayne Community Youth Centers provide safe, supportive spaces where children and teens can learn, grow, and thrive through meaningful recreation, enrichment, and mentorship. By participating in this year’s fundraiser, attendees help ensure local youth continue to have access to nutritious meals, positive role models, and programs that build confidence, life skills, and bright futures. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the next generation of leaders.

The Fort Wayne Community Youth Centers provide safe, welcoming, and supportive environments where children and teens can learn, grow, and thrive. Serving youth ages 5 to 17 in Fort Wayne’s East Central and Southeast neighborhoods, the centers offer free and affordable recreational, educational, and enrichment opportunities that help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential.

Located in neighborhoods where many families face economic hardship and limited access to healthy food, the centers serve as vital safe havens during after‑school hours and throughout the summer. They offer structured, supervised programming that keeps youth engaged in a secure environment while giving families peace of mind.

Programs include arts and crafts, sports and recreation, homework assistance, STEM activities, leadership development, mentoring, character‑building, wellness initiatives, and special events. Recreation Leaders build meaningful relationships with youth by leading activities, encouraging positive behavior, and serving as trusted mentors and role models.

In addition to enrichment opportunities, the centers help address food insecurity by providing nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring that children have access to healthy food in an area considered a food desert.

Through strong community partnerships, dedicated staff, and a commitment to serving every child with dignity and respect, the Fort Wayne Community Youth Centers foster belonging, strengthen families, encourage healthy lifestyles, and inspire the next generation of leaders. They are more than recreation facilities—they are community resources, safe havens, and places where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
