Given the new realities in local government finance with transformative changes to property taxes, communities may face additional challenges in funding park capital projects. As we enter budget season, it is often beneficial to bring funding solutions to the table to help elected officials get to “yes” for proposed project(s). This webinar will explore existing funding mechanism and ways to help build advocacy within your community to fund key projects. With the Indiana General Assembly in session, we will also highlight any bills being considered that could help or hurt future park funding. This webinar is designed for directors, superintendents, and similar executive management positions within your department.
