Porter County Parks and Recreation is one of 10 organizatio ns selected nationally to participate in NRPA’s “Fund Your Park” Campaign. This inaugural campaign selected 10 projects from across the country to participate as part of their crowd funding platform to build and improve parks throughout the US. The project that Porter County Parks and Recreation presented is a natural playground, the Native American Play Area, to be developed at Sunset Hill Farm County Park. Campers from the Porter County Parks and Recreation summer day camps were instrumental in selecting this project for the campaign.
